Clinical Placement

The Rural Doctors Workforce Agency in collaboration with various metropolitan hospitals, provides resident rural GPs the opportunity to undertake clinical placements in the areas of Obstetrics, Anaesthetics and Surgery.

The Rural Doctors Workforce Agency can also assist rural GPs to source other placements where there is a demonstrated need for the doctor to enhance skills specific to their community (examples of which include drug rehabilitation, mental health and palliative).
